Abstract

In-Hospital BSL-2 Clinical Laboratory Biosafety Risk Identification and Risk Control by Jia Zhao, Weixin Chen, Yanqiu Zhao, Hanwei Cui, Shuo Song

Background: This study aimed to explore the management of risk assessment and risk control in the in-hospital biosafety management of BSL-2 clinical pathogenic microorganism laboratory.
Methods: Risk analysis was carried out for complex nosocomial pathogen infection risk, poor scientific research skills of medical staff, weak risk awareness, and unreasonable layout of laboratory division.
Results: Through effective risk control means, the infection risk of pathogenic microorganism laboratory was reduced, and the safe operation of the laboratory was guaranteed.
Conclusions: BSL-2 clinical laboratory should adopt effective risk assessment and risk control, predict the danger source in advance, eliminate or reduce the hidden danger, and ensure the safety to the greatest extent.
